Kanfit custom-designs, manufactures and assembles NMR permanent magnets and polarizers for real-time analysis of the physical and chemical composition of materials. These benchtop NMR magnets can be used for a broad range of industrial and medical applications.
Capitalizing on our expertise in manufacturing parts and assemblies made from composite materials for the aerospace industry, Kanfit’s benchtop NMR permanent magnets are stand-alone, compact in size units, with flexible installation options for ease of use. Kanfit’s NMR permanent magnets offer the same powerful and accurate performance as full size, high field instruments -- at a significantly lower cost. Furthermore, Kanfit benchtop NMR permanent magnets are lighter in weight than other magnets currently on the market (less than 50 kg) and offer a strong magnet field at 2 T (100MHZ H1). Kanfit is able to manufacture electro-magnetic structures with dimensional tolerances as tight as 5 microns for very high voltage applications.
As part of the HYPERDIAMOND ("Molecular Imaging via Hyperpolarized Nanodiamonds") European collaborative research and innovation project led by a multi-disciplinary consortium coordinated by Ulm University, Kanfit is responsible for designing and manufacturing two types of permanent magnets, and executing the integration of the entire system. The objective of HYPERDIAMOND is the development of two new molecular imaging technologies for MRI medical imaging enabling sensitive diagnosis and treatment monitoring based on novel quantum and nanotechnology.
