Environment

We believe that the environment is an important part of our lives, and from the early days of Kanfit, every action was taken while considering the environment. We are committed to recycling. Metal scraps are sold to recycling subcontractor, CNC lubricants are recycled and reused, used barrels are sold to barrels recyclers, carton boxes are collected in a dedicated area and collected by a paper recycling company, etc.
A few years ago, when we had built our painting chamber, the water based filtration system was the most popular and the cheapest system in the market. However, Kanfit chose the dry air filter system, which was much more expensive but was also more environment friendly. Used paint filters are packed and sent to waste facilities without contaminating or wasting any valuable water resources.
When we decided to build a chemical coating line, it was obvious from the start that nothing would be dumped to the sewage. The system was designed to fully recycle all the water used in the line and return them to the line. Other waste is collected in special containers and sent to a recycling facility, which extracts the remaining water and recycles the chemicals in the waste.

Community

As part of the community, Kanfit is regularly donating a certain portion of the profits to help those who are less fortunate. Donations are given to Soup kitchens supplying food for poor people, charity organizations etc. We see great importance in helping challenged people to assimilate in the society. 3 percent of Kanfit workforce are challenged people which are being treated as regular employees. When possible, Kanfit buys local produce and services to support the local community.
